Emergency Fuel Delivery, How It Works
Running out of fuel usually happens for one of two reasons: a faulty gauge, or a bet with yourself about how far the low fuel light really goes. Either way, the fix is straightforward. A technician brings enough fuel to get you moving and to the nearest station, typically two to five gallons depending on your vehicle and local rules.
We deliver regular gasoline and diesel. Tell the dispatcher which one your vehicle takes, because putting the wrong fuel into a tank is a far more expensive problem than being stranded. If you are unsure, the fuel door or owner's manual usually says. Premium is rarely necessary just to get you to a station.
Diesel vehicles need extra care
A diesel engine that has fully run dry may need the fuel system primed or bled before it will restart. Mention that the vehicle is a diesel and whether it stalled while driving, so we can send someone equipped for it.
Electric vehicles
There is no fuel delivery for a depleted EV battery. A mobile charge is rarely practical on the roadside, so the standard solution is a flatbed tow to the nearest working charger. We will quote that instead.
